I am not as good as I once was but I am as good once as I always was ~ Tom Sokoloski

A view from the Gallacher Apartment

Oh what a day!  It is so fun to reconnect with old friends - not that they are old - but we have known them for 10 years.  The Sausalito Art festival was huge.   Combine the New Orleans Jazz Festival with Scottsdale's Fine Arts Festival and you would have a comparison.  Far away from home we ran into an artist from Burlington Vermont.  There was also some wonderful music groups.  Have you ever heard of:
 Dave Mason?  www.dave-mason.com
 Tubes? www.thetubes.com
   or
 Pablo Cruise? www.pablocruiseband.com
These were the groups on the main stage but there was also a secondary stage and a children's adventure area.  Surprise, surprise - most of the people had grey hair but we were all rockin' to the music.  Luckily the Murray's refrained from pocketbook drain by not purchasing any of the wonderful art.  However, we did gather some business cards for possible consideration in the future.  I-tunes may get hit for some of the music in the near future.

Saving our table for the music- lots of beer, bloody Mary's, wine and champagne!

Steve and Helen have been gracious to allow us to stay for two nights.  Tomorrow will bring a few hours in the car to our next destination.  Since Jim's phone is non-functioning, we will only be able to blog if there is WIFI at our next stop.

Have a great week everyone and see you in seven!
